I hope that all is well with you.
Further to the excellent images by Jon Hird and Tony Shore, you may be interested in my images of 37607 rescuing 6V74 Exeter to St Blazey empty clay train yesterday.
Please see the attached 2 images, both taken at Powderham Footbridge; one showing 37607 running as 1Z99 from Exeter to Dawlish Warren, the other showing 37607 dragging the stricken 6V74 and its failed loco, 66130, back to Riverside Yard.
I hope that they are of interest/use.
Kind regards,

DC Rail Class 60 at work
Guy Vincent
An unusual working for a Saturday, DC Rail's 60055 'Thomas Barnardo' doing what this class do best, hauling a heavy load of Gloucestershire sorced stone on the 6Z52 1150 Tytherington Quarry - Willesden DC Rail sidings. Running to an STP schedule and routed via Bath, Hawkeridge Loop and Newbury this stone is ultimately bound for one of the many construction sites on the HS2 route between London and Birmingham, most likely in the Chilterns.
The train was only travelling at around 40mph and, with a Westbury - Swindon local DMU routed across Bradord Junction ahead I had more than enough time to drive the short distance to Trowbridge station for a second shot.
Following the record amount of rainfall across the south and west over the past few months lineside vegetation growth has been rapid and dense with many locations now either impossible to take photos at or, like Bradford station, only from a head-on position.
I worry about the longer term effect of such growth going unchecked, especially damage that will result to structures such as bridges, drains and retaining walls etc.
In addition to vegetation, H&S compliant metal posts, notices and fences are all contributing to a growing reluctance to go onto stations for photography, as at Trowbridge. No wonder drones are becoming ever more popular!

We leave you today with a question...
Forder/Antony Passage viaduct demolition query
We have received the following query by email - can you help?
Hi
I wonder if you can help. I am trying to find out more about the original wooden viaduct that you used to cross Forder Creek, Cornwall, before the line was realigned and the newer one was opened in 1908. For example when was it demolished?
Many thanks and kind regards
